Overview
A film and entertainment park at the northern edge of Daxing, beside the Fifth Ring Road and between the Yizhuang development zone and the city centre — one of the few sites inside the Fifth Ring available for a large public building.
The proposal reorganises underused land into a third-generation cultural media park that brings work, living and leisure together in one place.
Planning concept
Bringing in cultural-investment and media resources, the park grows into five platforms — film services, living, entertainment, technology and industry — organised into six functional zones around a film-culture spine.
- Location: on the corridor linking Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, beside the southern axis.
- Transport: the new airport and a network of highways and rail.
- Environment: green and water networks for pleasant working conditions, and an established media industry in Daxing next to the Yizhuang high-tech zone.
